While the product contains Co-Enzyme-Q10 and other nutrients involved in the body’s production of energy, there is no data to show that this product will relieve daytime fatigue in people with fibromyalgia or chronic fatigue syndrome. It also contains malic acid, but the amount is not sufficient to have an impact (based on the only study using this ingredient). It costs $36 per month, but this doesn’t include the expense of shipping. Feeling exhausted all day long with an inability to stay alert is a common but serious symptom of fibromyalgia. You and your doctor should be exploring all of your options for targeting this problem, which may include nutritional supplements. However, your doctor may also be able to prescribe something that is more potent and less costly for you (e.g., the co-pay).
